Test Taking
Guidelines

The following guidelines will be strictly enforced during all examinations given in this class.  They are not meant to turn the classroom from an environment conducive to learning into a police state.  Rather they are to ensure that scores achieved are reflective of a student's knowledge and understanding of the material as opposed to his or her ability to cheat.  It is unfair to other students who put in the time and effort to perform well.  Furthermore, cheating can harm potential future employers who look at transcripts and the grades achieved as evidence of a student's ability and potential for success in a given field or profession.  In addition, future students, athletes, or patients of a biomechanics student who cheated his or her way through class could potentially have their health or well-being harmed by someone who supposedly knew what they were doing when giving training, coaching, rehabilitation, or medical instruction.

The bottom line is I take cheating very seriously.  Those caught cheating will receive a zero on the exam and be subject to disciplinary measures of the University of North Texas.  Don't cheat.  It is not worth it.  Put the time and effort in to learn the material the best you can.  With all this in mind, here are the class guidelines for exam days:
